The State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is a treasury of historical and cultural monuments and national value of the people. The staff of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan carry out a lot of work on protection, popularization and pass to the next generation of historical, cultural, national and natural riches. Visitors of the museum enrich their knowledge in rich history and culture of the Turkmen people.
At the State museum are organized exhibitions devoted to different events and celebrations for the popularization of national heritage. Staff of the State museum does not limit itself only in popularization of permanently acting exposition, but regularly organize guest exhibitions on various themes in kindergartens, schools, colleges and institutions of higher education of Ashgabat city.
On the 10-th of February 2020 the division of Fine Arts of the State museum of Turkmenistan has organized a guest exhibition named «Educational meaning of museum values» at the secondary school № 89 of Ashgabat city.
At this exhibition were shown various articles of everyday life of XIX-XX centuries, carpet products concerning applied arts, labour tools for carpet weaving, stuffed birds, which occur in the country. Specialists of the State museum have told the pupil a lot of interesting about all that.
This exhibition will help children to get a maximum of the information on the cultural values of the Turkmen people, which pass from generation to generation, historical riches, animal world and broaden their outlook.
