Turkmen people are famous for their history and have rich culture. The device of 2019 «Turkmenistan - the Motherland of prosperity » is accepted by the soul of each citizen of our country. In our country is carried out the big work on preservation of the cultural values, which are the integral part of a world civilization, creation the conditions for protection and learning cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, its customs and traditions under a wise guidance of the honourable President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov. The State museum of Turkmenistan is every day visited by a considerable number of inhabitants and visitors of capital, there are foreign guests among them, delegations with official visit and simply inhabitants of our country, but the most important visitors are, certainly, children as the rising generation is a basis of the future of our state. Therefore in a museum are regularly carried out interesting excursions in halls of the museum. Here are carried out thematic excursions about the important stages of history of Turkmenistan, which begin with the Stone Age. The rich history of the Bronze Age where prospered the state of Margush and during an antiquity in the territory of Turkmenistan there was a Parthian state. In the Middle Ages through the territory of Turkmenistan has passed the Great Silk Road, from which there remained ruins of ancient cities. In the exposition of halls of local lore and ethnography, young visitors acquaint with the nature and traditions of the Turkmen people. After carrying out excursion, in the museum is carried out the masterclass, during which schoolchildren try to make the unique archaeological exhibits seen in the exposition, such as antique rhytons made of ivory and medieval ceramic vessels, to let children fix knowledge of history and culture of our people. Professional painters Shamsetdinov Khekim, Abdullayeva Maysa work with children, guides Моvlamov Меkan and Аmanova Jennet, who acquaint children with interesting history and open unexpected talents of probably future artists.
