The round table named «Museum values and cultural relations», devoted to the archaeological exhibiton «Maргиана - kingdom of the epoch of Bronze Age in the territory of Turkmenistan» carried out in the Federal Republic of Germany

 

At the prosperous epoch of the powerful state Turkmen people achieve the big success and reforms as a result of activity of the honourable President for for the benefit of the people. A lot of work is carried out in popularization of culture, history and a cultural heritage of our country in a year declared at the initiative of hero Arkadag «Turkmenistan - the Motherland of prosperity». The museums which are one of the basic directions of culture, make the worthy contribution to strengthening of pace of this work.

In Turkmenistan are created all conditions for development of national culture. Building in the country of museums up to the world standard, scientific research of history of the Turkmen people, which begins from the time immemorial, development and introduction of experience of museums of the world, and popularization of experience of Turkmen museums to show to the international scientific organization their place and importance in the world, still more deepening of the international cooperation in keeping of historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan for mankind, the international exhibitions carried out for the purpose to up bring rising generation in the spirit of honouring of spiritual and cultural heritage of ancestors, scientific conferences – all this is very important for the staff of museums.

Now in the New Museum of Berlin city, the Archaeological museum of Hamburg city, museum Reiss-Engelhorn of Mannheim city of Federal Republic of Germany is organized the archaeological exhibition named «Maргиана - kingdom of the epoch of Bronze Age in the territory of Turkmenistan», composed of museum values of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, a museum of the Fine arts of Turkmenistan and a museum of History and local lore of Mary province. These surprising and unique finds are exhibited abroad for the first time and attract attention of the public.

The first exhibition in the New Museum of Berlin city, the capital of Federal Republic of Germany, has visited about 385 thousand people. An exhibition in the Archaeological museum of Hamburg city has visited 8 thousand 230 people. It is possible to say with confidence, that an exhibition in Mannheim, which population is more than 300 thousand people, will have a success. According to the messages of specialists of a museum, the number of questions from those, who is interested in an exhibition, grows day by day, from the moment of announcements of the exhibition of culture of Margiana, which has opened on the 9-th February. Today inhabitants and guests of a city got an opportunity to acquaint with prospering culture of the Bronze Age. 

And now, on the 12-th March 2019 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan has been carried round-table named «Museum values and cultural relations», devoted to the exhibition and organized by the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan. Heads and specialists of museums of Federal Republic of Germany, representatives of embassy of this country in Turkmenistan, scientists and research fellows of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the directors and specialists of our museums took part in the meeting.

The floor was given to the to the director of a museum of Ancient and protohistory of Berlin city of Federal Republic of Germany Mattias Wemchoff, the main curator of this museum Manfred Nawrot, leading research fellow Anthon Hass, director general of a complex of Museums Reiss-Engelhorn of Mannheim city of Federal Republic of Germany Аlfred Wichorek and director Susanna Wichert, director of the Archaeological museum of Hamburg city Reiner-Maria Weis, sales manager of this museum Torsten Рohmer, research fellow of the museum Michael Merkel, Professor Emeritus of the technical university of Hamburg city Channo Schaumburg, architect of Hamburg city, partner of the Archaeological museum of Hamburg city Barbaga Andrea Flekenstein. At the meeting were discussed outstanding works of bilateral cooperation in culture, archaeology and museum business.
