On the 4-th of March 2019 at the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out inauguration of the exhibition named “Turkmen women of the prosperous epoch” . In this cultural event participated well-known people of the country, staff of museum, cultural workers and creative personalities, teachers and students of higher and secondary modern schools.
Our honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov rates high the labour of our women and their all-round activity. This holiday is also celebrated in our countyr as a solemn occasion. State prizes awarded them testify to this. At the exhibition named „Turkmen women of the prosperous epoch“, organized at the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan spring, beauty of women, nature of Motherland are brightly shined by means of picturesque paintings, jewellery compositions and carpet pictures.
Our people treated women with a special love and respect from the very beginning of the history of mankind. At the exhibition are widely presented woman’s figurines of the Eneolithic and the Bronze Age, beads and bracelets from shells and semi-precious stones, bottles for hair dye, powder boxes and some other things connected with the woman.
The dresses sewn of “keteni” cloth, which have all colours of the rainbow make the exhibition more attractive and gives it inimitable national spirit. We should also thank our women, our mothers and grandmothers for they have passed to the present national clothes embroidered with different patterns. The exhibition is original for the national adornments made of silver and encrusted by semi-precious stones. There are exposed rare adornments from the museum storehouses, such as tumar, bracelets, asyk, gulyaka and others.
Тhe celebration was opened by the manager of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov with words of greeting.
Then the floor was given to People’s Writer of Turkmenistan, head of literary division Of the Main drama theatre Govshutgeldy Danatarov,, a main specialist of the Central Council of Women’s association of Turkmenistan Aknabat Myradova, poetess Bahargul Kerimova, Honoured Art Worker of Turkmenistan, poetess Oguljemal Charyyeva, a member of Elder’s Quorum of Ashgabat city administration, veteran of work Ogulgul Annageldiyeva, subeditor of “Ekologiýa medeniýeti we daşky gurşawy goramak” magazine Jumaberdi Artykov, subeditor of “Türkmenistan” newspaper Akmyrat Khodjanyyaz, subeditor of “Ahal durmuşy” newspaper Durnabat Ashyrova, deputy chief editor of “Bereketli toprak” newspaper Aynabat Atayeva, head of division of National institute of education of Turkmenistan Ogulbayram Melyayeva, teacher Turkmen State architectural institute” Meylis Nuryyev..
The students of Turkmen State architectural institute, Turkmen State Fcademy of Fine Arts, members of Elder’s Quorum of Ashgabat city, veterans of work were invited as the guests. The speeches were very interesting and met with prolonged applause. Then the guests were acquainted with the exhibition named„Turkmen women of the prosperous epoch“.
