On the 8-ер of August 2018 at the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out inauguration of the exhibition named «Educational meaning of museum values». In this cultural event participated specialist of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, well-known scientists, creative personalities, workers of the senior management of education, teachers of the secondary schools of Ashgabat city.
The announcement of 2018 as the year «Turkmenistan – the heart of the Great Silk Road» due to the cares of the honourable President stimulates a complex studying of a rich cultural and historical heritage of the Turkmen people all over the world and its propagation that connects the present and the past of the country, directs cultural relations with the peoples of the world to the new historical level
The archeological finds, which testify to the history the Great Silk Road, this year have special value for museums. Museum is the higher school, which gives anyone the exhaustive information. The purpose of museums is to direct people to culture and to develop love to the Motherland and the people by means of museum values. The big assistance is rendered to people by museums in their studying and understanding of the people, their country, its nature, history, culture and life, public education, widening of their outlook and cultural pastime.
In the store-houses of the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan are kept values found in the ancient monuments of Turkmenistan. For the purpose of demonstration the to the visitors is organized the exhibition named «Educational meaning of museum values». Тhe celebration was opened by the manager of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov with words of greeting. Then the floor was given to the leading research fellow of the Institute of History of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of philisophy Myaty Annanurov, leading research fellow of National institute of manuscripts of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of philological science Edjegyz Charyyeva, poet, the winner of «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» competition of the President of Turkmenistan Annaberdy Gochamanov, associate professor of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture candidate of art history Sahragul Janmammedova, head of department of «Edebiýat we sungat» newspaper Suleyman Ilamanov, subeditor of «Garagum» magazine Nurtach Annamukhammedova, correspondent-in-chief of «Nesil» newspaper Akgul Saparova. Тhere were also invited as the guests research fellows of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, workers of the senior management of education, teachers of the secondary schools of Ashgabat city.
