On the 19-th of April 2018 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan took place inauguration of educational conference “Turkmen national craft connected with the Great Silk way” and an exhibition of the same name organized by the State museum and Committee for Magtymguly International Prizes. There participated well-known people of our country, creative personalities, teachers and students of Institutions of Higher education.
The meeting was opened by the manager of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science О. Mаmmetnurov.
The museum of Ethnography and local lore of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is one of places where visitors in interest look up at the exposition, where is concentrated a national heritage of our country, husbandry of Turkmens, their habits, customs. Being guided by a policy of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, a sacredduty of each citizen to propagate a rich national heritage of Turkmens, study it and keep. In the museum are regularly carried out meetings of youth with scientists of Turkmenistan, creative personalities and are organized exhibitions, theoretical and practical and educational conferences. The managerof the State museum noticed in the speech, that carrying out of the educational conference “Turkmen national craft connected the Great Silk way” and the exhibition of the same name gave the opportunity to give a detailed account of some kinds of an applied art of Turkmen national craft, namely carpet making, felting, jewellery, weaving and scientists and creative personalities made interesting reports about national craft.
