Under the wise leadership of our honourable President, who continues the reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, in our is being carried out country a lot of work to preserve, study, popularize and modernize our material and spiritual values inherited from our ancestors.
Currently, under the wise leadership of our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, all opportunities are being created for masters of folk art to produce high-quality products in our country and to further improve the folk experience of their craft. The Resolution of the Honourable President of Turkmenistan dated with the 15th of April 2017 «On the Improvement of Folk Art in Turkmenistan» has gained great importance in encouraging masters of art to work more creatively. This is a clear example of the state's support for the creative work of craftsmen, and the creation of all conditions for their production of high-quality products. As the saying goes, «Diligence – fundamental to success», that is the honourable title of «People's Master of Artistic Creativity» awarded to craftsmen who excel in their work every year.
In this regard, on the 15th of June 2026 the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan will organize a creative meeting named «National Experience of Artistic Creativity» and a ceremony of awarding certificates for the honorary title of «People's Master of Artistic Creativity». Within the framework of this ceremony, will be organized an exhibition of values stored in the storehouses of the State Museum. The main place in the exhibition is given to the books presented by our Honourable Hero Arkadag, picture carpets created by our carpet makers, as well as felt mat and felt mat products. In addition, at the exhibition are shown original works concerning Turkmen bagshi art, Turkmen dutar and gyjak, Turkmen vomen’s national jewelry, children's clothing, headdresses, and costumes. Here are demonstrated paintings by the People's Artists of Turkmenistan, including Y.Gylyjov's «Magic Patterns», Sh.Akmuhammedov's «Folk Creative Work», Sh.Rejepov's «Ancient Craft», G.Bayramov's «National Jewelry», and G.Yazmuhammedova's «National Values».
The celebration was opened with the words of greeting by the director of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Mеrеtgеldy Charyev. The meeting was carried out by the deputy head of management of non-material cultural heritage of the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan Ogyltach Khojaeva. Then the floor was given the Hero of Turkmenistan, the executive secretary of the National commission of Turkmenistan on UNESCO activity Chinar Rustemova, the keeper of the museum of History and local lore of Akvekil village Babadaikhan district of Akhal velayat Gulshat Danatarova, manager the House of culture of Irikli village Turkmenbashy district of Balkan velayat Nurbibi Mamieva, the stage director of folklore ensemble of the central House of culture of department of culture of Akdepe district of Dashoguz velayat Gulnabat Jumaeva, the choreographer of the House of culture of Tallymerjen village Dovletli district of Lebap velayat Shemshat Kuvvatova, manager the House of culture of Suhty village of Soviet of Pendi village Tagtabazar district of Mary velayat Guljahan Rоzyeva. There also have been listened to the performances of Shaher Tаchеv and the Honoured bahshi of Turkmenistan Dоvletgeldy Durdyev.
Participants of conference have wished Hero Arkadag and the honourable President sound health and successes for granting of wide opportunities in development of national culture and studying material and cultural values.
