In the network of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses» the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan organized a guest exhibition named «National Heritage – the Foundation for Rapid Development» at the S.A.Nyyazov Turkmen Agricultural University from the 6th up to the 11th of April 2026.
At the exhibition are presented ancient carpet products, horse harness, woman’s dresses glorifying the nationality of the Turkmen people. Among them there are saddlebags with cotton and cocoon adorned with the ornaments of the five regions of Turkmenistan, bags, mat bags, spindle bags, camel adornments, and other carpet products. The centre of the exhibition is given to the carpets depicting Akhalteke horses and Turkmen nature. Decorative horse accessories, including breast collars, eye flaps, and neck adornments are also among them. Since ancient times, the Turkmen people have woven various carpet products for their horses. Among the exhibits are a saddle, sweat cloth, shabrack and a whip. There are also presented figurines of Akhalteke horses.
