«When Novruz comes»

Novruz – one of the oldest holidays which stores throughout many centuries in hearts and memory of many nations of the world, including the Turkmen people, and embodies high spiritual and moral values of the people, national traditions. In 2010 the United Nations put forward a holiday will on the international level, now in some states it is celebrated as «International Novruz holiday». Novruz holiday strengthens the peace between the people, it is a solemn holiday, which strengthens agreement, friendship, ideas of humanism between the states. Novruz holiday creates spiritual sprouts in a souls of all mankind, and coincides with national installations of the status of a permanent Neutrality of our state. This international holiday pulls together the people, moves forward ideas of humanism and diligence, calls for friendship and goodwill at world level. Also this празлник has taken a place in our hearts as a sign on unanimity, unity, hospitality, spirituality and peacefulness. The Turkmen people have some traditions connected with Novruz holiday. According to it, they prepare a national dish semeni. The prepared victuals are distributed to friends and neighbours. All the people wish each other good and good luck in new year. At the era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state at the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «When Novruz comes» to celebrate the International Novruz holiday. The exhibition features picture carpets depicting the beautiful springtime of Turkmen nature, carefully preserved in the storehouses of the State Museum, as well as paintings by our artists, such as «White Roses» by A.Dzhijilov, «Magical Patterns» by Y.Gylyzhov, «Folk Art» by Sh.Akmukhamedov, «National Values» by G.Yazmukhamedova, «National Jewelry» by G.Bayramov, «Blossoming pomegranates» by N.Begnazarov, and «Dance» by G.Huseynov. The exhibition also presents carpet productss and national costumes created by talented women. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by the «White Yurta» representing the national colour of the Turkmen people, where one can see a composition depicting Turkmen women grinding flour in a handmill and preparing semeni – the main national dish of Nowruz. The exhibition also features jewelry and ceramic decorative articles. The exhibition was opened by the director of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan Meretgeldi Charyev with the words of greeting. Then the floor was given to the actor of Magtymguly National music and drama theatre, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Tirkish Matnazarov, senior lecturer of the State academy of fine arts, Honoured Art worker of Turkmenistan Azat Annaev, Honoured Cultural worker of Turkmenistan, poetess Oguljemal Charyevа, senior correspondent of «Esger» newspaper Aygul Garaeva, five tear student of the faculty of Turkmen language and literature, journalism speciality of Magtymguly Turkmen state university Ogulnur Saparova. The speeches were very amazing. Then the guests acquainted with the exhibition «When Novruz comes».
