Every year on the 18th of February, our country celebrates Diplomatic Workers' Day. At present, our diplomatic missions operate in tens of countries in Asia, Europe, America and other large regions, fulfilling important tasks to develop bilateral relations and support our national interests.
Turkmen diplomats consistently work on effective realization of the peacemaking foreign policy of our independent, neutral state, protect our national interests, and successfully fulfill the important tasks assigned to them. On the occasion of Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan at the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Prosperity is the base of Turkmen diplomacy». At the exhibition are presented values held in the museum's storehouses, photos of the honourable President addressing the UN, meeting with the President of the Russian Federation and the heads of states of the Central Asia.
At the exhibition a special attention is paid to the beautiful souvenir jewelry. Jewelry made by Turkmen jewellers helps to convey the essence and content of the exhibition's theme. These works are made of silver, gilded, and adorned with precious stones, depict the State symbols of Turkmenistan, a map of Turkmenistan, carpet patterns symbolizing Turkmen nationality and buildings and monuments with symbolic significance—all this is created with the use of exquisite carving and casting technics. The exhibition also presents wise books of our honourable President, Hero Arkadag, as well as books, albums, and magazines published in recent years dedicated to Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The exhibition was opened by the head of Cultural and enlightener division of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Dovlet Rejepow with the words of greeting. Then the floor was given to the Deputy of Majlis of Turkmenistan, a member of committee on protection of people’s rights and liberty Yenish Mollaberdiev, the deputy director of the institute of History and archaeology of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Khan-Durdy Gurbanov, the head of department of improvement of professional skill of educationalists of the National institute of education, doctor of biology Sapargeldi Durdyev and senior lecturer of the international relations and diplomacy department of the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nurberdi Amanmyradov.
Interesting reports have been met by applause. Participants of a celebration have acquainted with the exhibition «Prosperity is the base of Turkmen diplomacy», organized in honour of the Diplomatic Workers' Day marked annually on the 18th of February and have listened to interesting information of workers of the museum.
