At the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out methodological seminar «Turkmenistan - Motherland of peace and trust» with participation of museums workers of the country

On the 29th-30th of May 2025 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out two-day methodological seminar «Turkmenistan – Motherland of peace and trust» with participation of museums workers of the country jointly with Methodological administration of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. At the inauguration of the seminar heads of museums have made reports on various themes, about a role of museums in the international cultural relations, work on a kitting-up, examination and cataloging of museum values, about the future of museums: virtual exhibitions and 3D expositions, a role and public influence of exhibitions in popularization of national values, a museum and a society: ways of activization of contacts with the population, museums - keepers and popularizers of the national creative heritage, meaning of museums in patriotic training of youth, Turkmenistan – Motherland of peace and trust. In the course of the seminar specialists of the State museum and of other museums of the country have conducted the expanded methodological lessons in the form of questions and answers and there have been demonstrated slides on use of virtual space and the Internet in museum business, computer literacy, electronic cataloging of museum values. At the methodological seminar the floor was given to the main specialist of the division of the educational establishments, museums and libraries of the Ministry of culture of Durdymyrat Atdaýew, director of the museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan Ismail Orazow, director of the museum of History and Local Lore of Lebap region Gulbahar Yangibaeva, director of the museum of History and Local Lore of Arkadag city Nurmyrat Annaçaryýew, director of the national «Gokdepe» museum of Gokdepe district of Akhal region Merdan Khydyrov, director of the museum of History and Local Lore of Turkmenbashy city Mayagozel Charyyarova, director of Bagshy museum of Dashoguz city Begench Khaknazarov, deputy director of the museum of History and Local Lore of Mary region Parakhat Durdygylyjov, head of the methodological division of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Sulgun Berdieva. On the second day of the seminar have been conducted lesson and a masterclass on restoration and renovation of exhibits. In the course of masterclass there was given an information about peculiarities of restoration of various kinds of ceramics, works of painting and articles made of cloth. Specialists of museums have actively participated in a seminar on peculiarities of restoration of values. The seminar carried out at the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan with the invitation of specialists of all museums of the country became the starting moment giving an impulse to a mutual exchange of experience and studying of the invaluable treasury of our history on a scientific basis.
