Pieces of national handicraft

One of the basic problems of museum workers is advanced study of the national values created by our ancestors within centuries and their popularization among the people. For this purpose the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan regularly organizes guest exhibitions composed of museum values in educational institutions of the country. For closer acquaintance of students with a national heritage the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan at the period from the 5th up to the 10th of May 2025 in honour of “The International year of peace and trust” has organized in Ashgabat mechanical and technological technical secondary school of the Ministry of textile industry of Turkmenistan a guest exhibition named “Peaceful country, beloved Turkmenistan”. At the exhibition were presented Turkmen carpets and carpet products, national costumes and articles of everyday use. We we are proud of the fact that students have come to acquaint with museum values, that they were interested very much in the national heritage and all it had influence on perfection of their spiritual world. Students of technical secondary school have found some interesting information among museum values. In the course of the exhibition teaching stuff and students of the educational institution have expressed their gratitude to the specialists of the museum for the interesting information about the national heritage.
