At the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan has been carried out the competition named «The World of birds» among pupils of secondary schools of Ashgabat city

On the 28th of March 2025 in honour of the International day of birds the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan together with Magtymguly youth organization of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen society of nature preservation has held celebration of the winners of the competition named «The World of birds» carried out among pupils of secondary schools of Ashgabat city. In February-March of this year in the State museum of Turkmenistan have been carried out competitions in the form of test among pupils of secondary schools of Ashgabat city. Before testing for children has been carried out an excursion in the exposition of department of Nature and local lore, where they have acquainted with birds of our country. The research workers of department of Nature and local lore have organized guest exhibitions at schools for attraction of more quantity of pupils in competition, where they have told to children a lot of interesting about birds and have held testing at schools. In the course of these actions, children have learnt much about feathery friends of the man. They have acquainted with wintering, settled and nesting birds of Turkmenistan. They have also acquainted with peculiarities, biology and diversity of birds, which occur in our country. In total in competition participated more than 700 pupils. 37 pupils among them became winners and have been awarded by letters of commendation from the State museum of Turkmenistan and gifts from Magtymguly Youth organization of Turkmenistan and the society of nature preservation of Turkmenistan. Head of advertising and publishing division of the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Bossan Ataeva, ornithologist, candidate of biological science, research officer of the National institute of desert, the vegetable and animal worlds of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Saparmyradow, head of organizational division of Ashgabat city council of Magtymguly Youth organization of Turkmenistan Оgulbabek Baimyradova, inspector of the society of nature preservation of Turkmenistan Gulnar Charyyarova, the teacher of the secondary school №63 of Ashgabat city Aishat Nurmyradova and the teacher of the secondary school №7 of Ashgabat city Guljemal Bairamdurdyeva sent their greetings to the children on the occasion of the victory in the competition.
