At the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «World of birds» On 31 March 2023 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out inauguration of the exhibition named «World of birds» devoted to the International Bird Day. In this event participated well-known people of the country, lecturers and students of higher educational institutions, specialists of Nature preservation society of Turkmenistan. The inauguration was opened by the director of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Meretgeldi Charyyev. Then the floor was given to Sapargeldi Durdyyev, head of department of the National education institute of Turkmenistan, candidate of biological science, Orazdurdy Saparov, lecturer of Tourism high school of Ashgabat, senior research officer of the National institute of Deserts, vegetable and animal worlds, candidate of biological science Olga Arzyamovа, Aknabat Potayeva, head of scientific department of Kopetdag State Reserve, Gulnar Charyyarova, nature inspector of Nature protection society. At the opening of the exhibition scientists have told about history of celebrating of the International Bird Day in Turkmenistan, about the birds, which occur in our country, about activity on protection of the animal world and the policy carried out in this direction by the honourable President Serdar Berdymukhamedov. The pupils of high school №143 showed composition devoted to birds. In February and March of this year in the State museum of the State cultural center of Turkmenistan it was carried out competition among pupils of high schools of the city of Ashgabat and the highest and average educational institutions of Turkmenistan devoted to "Birds of the native land". As a result of competition there were determined contestants - winners of 2 rounds who at opening of an exhibition were given mementoes. Then dear guests were acquainted with an exhibition of the birds meeting in Turkmenistan, their variety and beauty. Valuable museum pieces - scarecrows of birds, their egg, a nest, also cloths of the known artists, sculptural figurines, pictures, carpet panels, drawings, photos with the image of birds were presented. A lot of place is given to scientific and fiction literature, colourful magazines about birds. And to modest portraits of the famous scientists-ornithologists of Turkmenistan. This year, diaries of the famous ornithologist, professor of MSU G.P. Dementiev working in the years of war in the territory of Turkmenistan became a big gift to the museum. At an exhibition these invaluable documents which were kindly donated to the museum by a prominent ornithologist of Turkmenistan, Doctor of biological sciences, professor E.A.Rustamov were shown for the first time.
