On the 26-th of December 2022 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan has taken place an inauguration on the occasion of carrying out of the final stage of the competition among museums named “Мuseums of the epoch of Arkadag” under the aegis of the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan
Thanks to tireless careof hero Arkadag, the honourable President Serdar Berdymukhamedov at the new era of the Revival a new epoch of the powerful state the great attention is given to museums, where are concentrated the values showing the historical past of the Turkmen people.
In a year “Epoch of the people with Arkadag” the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan together with the National centre of trade unions of Turkmenistan have held competition between museums named “Museums of the epoch of Arkadag” under the aegis of the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan. Heads of museums and research fellows took part in competition of regional, district, rural museums and branches of museums.
According to requirements of competition museums of the country competed in the activity of exposition and museum storehouses, conducting of scientific and cultural and enlightener work and level of attainment of specialists.
The final stage of the competition was carried out on the 26-th of December 2022 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. There participated research fellows from regional, district, rural museums and branches of museums, who became winners. At the end of the competition the winners were declared by the members of jury as the “Best museum of the year”. The inauguration was opened by the director of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Meretgeldy Charyyev. Then the floor was given to the deputy head of department of schools, museums and libraries Yagmyr Оrayev, deputy director of Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy the Great museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan Kakilik Оvezberdyyeva, director of Balkan regional museum of History and Local Lore, which became “The best regional museum of the year”, Azatgul Khojaberdyyeva, the worker of museum of Bahshy of Dashoguz city, which became “The best regional museum of the year”, Begench Khaknazarov, the worker of Magtymguly Pyragy museum of Magtymguly district of Balkan region, which became “The best district museum of the year”, Bezirgen Niyazov, the head of the Historical museum of S. Cherkezov Council of Akdepe region, which became “The best rural museum of the year”, Khojageldy Babayev, the head of the museum of Mekan settlement of Bairamaly district of Mary region which became “The best branch of museum of the year”, Parakhat Durdygylyjov and others.
At the end of the inauguration the winners were awarded with valuable gifts and diplomas from the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan and the National centre of trade unions of Turkmenistan.
