In National tourist zone “Avaza” was organized a large-scale exhibition within the network of the First trilateral summit of heads of Turkmenistan, the Azerbaijani Republic and the Republic of Turkey, which was visited by numerous guests, including spouses of the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengeshi of Turkmenistan and heads of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
At this exhibition were presented works of decorative and applied arts and and the fine carpets woven by hands of talented Turkmen girls and women and which are worldwide values.
In the centre of the section a special place is occupied by a beautiful figured cape, created by Ogulabat eje, who continues the national traditions coming from the time immemorial and which is exhibited at the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. Spouses of the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengeshi of Turkmenistan and heads of Azerbaijan and Turkey, having examined a cape, have noticed with pride, that the patterns embroidered by Ogulabat eje, are the sample for younger generation of needlewomen. And the inclusion of a national embroidery of the Turkmen people into the list of a non-material cultural heritage of UNESCO is the next acknowledgement of its enormous importance for world culture.
The special place at the exhibition is also occupied by the embroidered works and the jewellery kept in the storehouses of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. The unique national goods and jewellery command admiration at all times.
Guests of honour, having acquainted with the exhibition, have noted importance of national values and the good customs, which originate in ancient times.
