At the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out a presentation of the XIII volume of the book by the President of Turkmenistan named «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan»

The edition of XIII volume of the book by the President of Turkmenistan «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan»  became a peculiar gift of the leader of the nation to a professional holiday of the doctors, to all the people and to the world scientific organization as well. Encyclopaedic work of the President of Turkmenistan, the academician of Academy of Sciences, professor Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov is intended to a reading public, which is interested in rich vegetable world of our country and in ancient traditions of folk medicine.

In the book are described in detail healing properties of medicinal plants, including the plants growing in certain district and possibility of their use in traditional and folk medicine.

At the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out a presentation of the XIII volume of the book by the President of Turkmenistan named «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan». In this celebration participated well-known politicians of the country, creative personalities, deputy of session of National Council of Turkmenistan and lecturers of the institutions of higher education.

Within the the networkof presentation visitors have acquainted with the exhibition named «Turkmenistan - land of medicinal plants»  organized in the museum. In a prominent place are located a carpet with the woven book «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan»  by the honourable President, all volumes of the scientific encyclopaedia of the leader of the nation «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan»  and the copies of this book translated into foreign languages. At this exhibition are shown herbariums of the medicinal plants, which grow our country and stored in storehouse of department of the Nature and Local Lore, healing teas and the medicines prepared from these plants. Photos of the medicinal plants show riches of our nature.

Through the years of independence health and the medicinal industry is being developed together with all branches. At an exhibition are also shown photos of the health and fitness centres, hospitals and sanatoria, which were put in operation.

The presentation was opened by the manager of the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Meretgeldi Charyyev. Then the floor was given to the head of department of botany of the Biological faculty of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, doctor of biological science Amangylych Geldikhanov, head of division of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, candidate of biological science, associate professor Sapargeldi Durdyyev, deputy of session of National Council of Turkmenistan, lecturer of Аshgabat Indira Gandhi secondary medical school Makhym Gubiyeva, lecturer of the Biological faculty of Magtymguly Turkmen State University Bahar Danatarova, research fellow of the Institute of desert, vegetable and animal worlds of the department of environmental protection of Ministry of Agriculture and environmental protection of Turkmenistan Maral Sakhatova, deputy head of division of Nature of the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Guljemal Annamyradova, head of division of Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy the Great museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan Soyun Sakhetgylyjov.

 As participants of presentation of XIII volume of the book «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan»  have noted, this scientific encyclopaedia is a treasury of knowledge of healing properties of the plants growing in the Turkmen soil and which have been successfully used over centuries for treatment of various illnesses.
