At the prosperous epoch of the powerful state in independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan is carried out a lot of work under the guidance of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov on improvement of activity of museums and transfer museums in digital system. There are created all possibilities for exchange of experience and consultations in this direction with foreign countries.
On July 15, 2021, at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, a conversation took place between the director of this museum Meretgeldi Charyyev and the director of the Museum of Anthropology Andre Deluech, as well as with the head of the department of nature and local history Enedzhan Altyyeva. This session was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan on the recommendation of the Embassy of French Republic.
During the conversation, Andre Deluche briefly explained about his museum, scientific research and the most interesting exhibits. The State Museum from its side reported about its collection of artifacts. The State Museum was interested in questions related to new methods of restoration of both archaeological and ethnographic exhibits.
Mutual interest was shown in organizing exhibitions and joint events on various subjects. Andre Deluech agreed to help in finding answers on various inquiries that arise during the study of different exhibits.
In conclusion, the director of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan Meretgeldi Charyyev thanked Andre Deluech for his speech and expressed gratitude to the organizers of the conference.
