On the 4-th of June 2021 in the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized the exhibition named «Science – riches of mankind»

         On the 4-th of June 2021 in the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried an auguration of the exhibition named «Science – riches of mankind» devoted to the Day of Science and the World day of environmental protection. There participated well-known people of the country, lecturers and students of the institutions of higher education and specialist of society for the protection of nature of Turkmenistan.

Тhe festival was opened by the manager of the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Meretgeldy Charyyev. Then the floor was given to the professor of Magtymguly Turkmen State University Amanguly Magtymov, senior lecturer Nurberdy Nurberdyyev, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov, lecturer of department of agrochemistry and soil science Myratberdy Chopanov, deputy director in research work of the Institute of History and Archaeology of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Khandurdy Gurbanov, research fellow of of the national institute of Desert, vegetation and fauna of the management of environmental protection of the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of Turkmenistan Maral Sakhatova, nature inspector of regulatory organization of society for the protection of nature of Turkmenistan Gulnar Charyyarova.

The scientists have told a lot of interesting about activity of scientists in various spheres of a science, history of celebration of the World day of environmental protection, work on protection of vegetable and animal worlds of our country and about policy carried out in this direction by the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

At the opening of the exhibition there was also has carried out presentation of the book of the known paleontologist of Turkmenistan, the worker of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, Aman Nigarov «Footprints of animals of Turkmenistan of аkchagyl period» . The floor was given to reviewers of the book – the lecturer of geography of Magtymguly Turkmen State University of name Махтумкули, candidate of geological - mineralogical science Anatoliy Bushmakin and the senior lecturer of faculty of geology of the International oil and gas university, candidate of geological - mineralogical science Оgulgerek Bayramdurdyyeva.

This year in the exhibition participate young artists of Ashgabat city of. The attention of many guests is attracted by their theme pictures «Animals - our friends» . Naturalist, candidate of biological science Tajigul Gurbanova congratulated young artists and awarded them gifts.

Then the guests acquainted with the exhibition. Here is presented multivolume encyclopaedic work of the honourable President «Medicinal plants Turkmenistan» and are located the books concerning various branches of science.

In the second part of the exhibition are presented portraits of the well-known scientists, who have brought a big contribution into development of science from storehouse of written sources, documentary photography about scientific research of the XX century in the field of archaeology, ethnography, philology, geology, biology, paleontology.

The third part of theexhibition is continued by the picturesque works of artists, which show beauty of a native land, glorifying our fine nature. Here are presented unique jewellery compositions with birds, exposures of flora and fauna of the country, posters of 50-s of the last century, an ikebana made by the workers of the museum. The special beauty is given to the exhibition by the landscape carpets woven by Turkmen carpet-makers.
