At the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Treasure house of minerals» devoted to the Day of workers in oil and gas industry and geologists.
The exhibition is composed on the basis of the exhibits stored in the museum and is divided into three thematic sections.
In the first part are presented the archaeological finds, which have been found out in many places of inhabitation of our ancestors. These are sharp flake-knives and arrowheads, various tableware and cosmetic bottles, beads made of cornelian, turquoise and lazurite.
In the second part of the exhibition are presented various minerals and rocks of our country. Here is possible to see portraits of the scientists, who has made an outstanding contribution to development of a geological science of Turkmenistan and books about minerals.
In addition in the third section are presented exhibits from storehouse of the museum of the President of Turkmenistan. These are articles made of semiprecious stones; the souvenirs adorned with precious and semiprecious stones, unique vases and jewellery compositions where are used polished natural stones of unusual beauty.
The exhibition was opened with the words of greeting by the was opened by the head of Nature department of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Enedjan Altyyeva.
Then the floor was given to the senior lecturer of the International Oil and gas institute, candidate of geological and mineralogical science Ogulgerek Bayramdurdyyeva, the senior lecturer of the International Oil and gas institute, candidate of philological science Gurbangozel Saparova, lecturer geographic faculty of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, candidate of geological and mineralogical science Anatoliy Bushmakin, lecturer of geographic faculty of the same University Nurberdi Nurberdiýew, head of gas processing division of “Türkmengaz” State concern natural gas research institute Sona Kerimova and II category engineer of Central process laboratory of “Türkmengeologiýa” State enterprise Suray Jorayeva.
Very interesting reports were met with applause.
The guests got acquainted with the exhibition named «Treasure house of minerals» and listened to the speeches of museum staff.
