In a year declared on the initiative of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, «Turkmenistan - the home of Neutrality» is carried out a lot of work on improvement of work of museums and also on preservation, studying, popularization and passing to the next generations of rich history and national heritage of Turkmen people. At the prosperous epoch of the powerful state is improved the sphere of culture along with other branches according to the demands of the epoch.

As a result of tireless care of the head of the state strengthening of the international cultural relations, exchange of experience of cultural workers and creative personalities of the country with the foreign colleagues gets a great significance. In this aspect on the 3-rd of December 2020 in the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, has been carried out the online video conference between the states of Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan by the Kluster bureau of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which is located in Republic of Kazakhstan. The manager of the State museum, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov participated in this conference. At this conference:

 1. On the first problem the heads of museums of the above-named states have mentioned a theme about influence of a pandemia on activity of museums. There has been discussed possibility of visiting museums and decided to organize online exhibitions.

2. On the second question was accepted the decision to begin the organization of exhibitions in one of museums of the European countries. The head of a museum has assured, that demonstration of a rich heritage of the countries-participants of joint online exhibitions will promote an exchange of experience for development of the mutual understanding between the countries located along the Great Silk way, being the bridge between the East and the West.

         3. By the participation in online exhibition, the manager of the State museum of State cultural centre of Turkmenistan has supported the project of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization and the European Union «Corridors of a heritage of the Silk way in Afghanistan, Central Asia and Iran - the international aspects of the European year of a cultural heritage». The manager of a museum O.Mammetnurov has told about intention to show at online exhibition values, which are located in a permanent exposition and store-houses of the State museum: photos of Ancient Merv, ceramic tableware found in New Nisa and architectural pieces of Dandanakan mosque.
