If we tell about Akhalteke horses and review history, Turkmenistan is the country of ancient culture and great traditions. Time has ruined powerful fortresses and rich cities in the old days. But time in any way has not concerned Akhalteke horses, who were witnesses of the glorious past. Turkmen warriors, who respected their horses, always adorned them by jewellery. These adornments were made by jewellers of silver, covered with gilding and decorated by turquoise and cornelian. Breast, eye, neck adornaments and a bridle belong to these adornments. Studying ancient original adornments, students accumulate experience and use in their activity. The state museum carries out a lot of work for popularization of Akhalteke horses, their adornments and the way of their making among rising generation.
Now at the prosperous epoch of the powerful state under the guidance of the honourable President are created all conditions for development of horse breeding and upbringing of pureblooded racers. Undoubtedly, that the pedigree fund will be kept and transferred as spiritual value to the next generations.
