Exhibition named «Remembrance of progenitors – memory of the people»

At the era of Revival of a new epoch of the powerful state Turkmen national traditions are esteemed at the state level. It became a good tradition to pay a tribute of respect and to remember the brave Turkmen warriors, who have given during the history their lives for the sacred land and victims of the most awful natural disaster, Ashgabat earthquake. At the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized the exhibition named «Remembrance of progenitors – memory of the people», devoted to day of Memory. The exhibition is opened with a portrait of the honourable President Serdar Berdymukhamedov and photos of the State symbols. The special place is given to documentary photography from «Written sources» fund of the State museum. The photos devoted to the history of Ashgabat city are divided into subject sets, there is view of city before earthquake, in the 20th century and photos concerning architecture of the epoch of Independence. Here are also presented fragments of destroyed Seyit Jemal ed-Din mosque. At the look at works of the fine arts and a photos it is possible to feel deeply the courage shown in fight. The exhibition is finished by the photos of the modern capital trimmed in white marble. The exhibition was opened and conducted by the senior staff scientist of the division of Fine Arts of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Dovlet Rejepov. Then the floor was given to the deputy director of the institute of History and archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Khan-Durdy Gurbanov, senior staff scientist of Magtymguly institute of Language, literature and national manuscripts Shasenem Amadova, head of restoration division and cultural and enlightener division of Geokdepe national museum Tavus Amanmyradova, specialist of educational division in connections with civic organization of the Military institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, major Kerim Myradov, inhabitant of Ashgabat city, pensioner, the Honoured elder of Turkmenistan Orazguly Karatаev.
