On the 22-th of April 2021 announced as the year «Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust» at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized an exhibition named «Winged horses – pride and glory of our people» , devoted to the holiday of Turkmen horse and alabay
One of the important directions of a state policy realiяed by the honourable President, is protection of a historical and cultural heritage of the people and its popularization all over the world. Among the values brought by the Turkmen people into the world culture Akhalteke horse and Turkmen alabay take a special place. Hero Arkadag for the purpose of raise authority of Turkmen alabay, which is considered to be the best friend and a companion of the man, on the 25-th of February this year has signed the Decree about establishment of a holiday of Turkmen alabay and has decided to celebrate it together with a holiday of Turkmen horse. Joint celebration of national day of Turkmen horse and alabay is a sign of beauty, harmony, unity and solidarity.
In the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Winged horses – pride and glory of our people» devoted to a national holiday of Turkmen horse and Turkmen alabay. The exhibition is opened by the portrait of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the motto of the year, wise words about Turkmen horse. Here are shown pictures of artists taken of storehouse of the fine arts, photos of Turkmen alabay, Akhalteke horses, jockeys and horse breeders from storehouse of written sources, carpet pictures, where are represented Turkmen horse and alabay. In the middle of the museum is shown the sculpture of Akhalteke horse, alabay and a mannequin of Turkmen horseman in national outerwear. Akhalteke horse is faultlessly decorated with ancient horse harness, adornments and carpet products. The exhibition is enriched by carpets and carpet products, felt mats, breast collar, collar, eye flap, bridle and other values, which are made of silver, gilded, and taken from storehouses. The modern harness made by jewellers, images of Turkmen horses testify to the big attention given to a horse. One part of Turkmen yurta in a combination with carpets and carpet products, horse cloths, saddle cloths, tableware, musical instruments shows harmony of values of the national heritage. The glory of Akhalteke horses and Turkmen alabay is spread now all over the world.
The exhibition was opened by the manager of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Meretgeldy Charyyev with the words of greeting.
Then the floor was given to the the Honoured cultural worker of Turkmenistan, poetess Oguljemal Charyyeva, horse show lecturers of Turkmen State Institute of physical training and sports Toyly Charyyev, Yalkapberdi Annamyradov, horse show lecturer of Olympic faculty of Turkmen State institute of culture Velnazar Khudayberdiyev, private horse breeder Gulmyrat Ashyrow, lecturer of bahshy department of Maya Kulyyeva Turkmen national conservatoire Magtymguly Magtymgulyyev, participant of national «Galkynyş» horse show group and office secretary of State «Türkmen atlary» association Jennet Seyidiyva, head of museum of State «Türkmen atlary» association Zuleykha Atayeva, horse breeder of International Akhalteke horse show complex Derya Saparov and member of Turkmen alabay dog association Mekan Gurbandurdyyev. Head of division of organization and politics of Ashgabat municipal committee of Agrarian party of Turkmenistan Ogulgerek Kossekova and main specialist of organization and politics of Ashgabat municipal committee of Agrarian party of Turkmenistan Akjemal Sukhanova have taken an active participation in the inauguration.
