At the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Science – power of the country»

         Day of a science in independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan is celebrated  at the state level from the 2008.   At the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Science – product of the developed society».

The exhibition begins with wise words of the honourable President about a science. Here are exposed photos of the doctor of medicine Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov and photos concerning great achievements in medicine, the multivolume book of the honourable President «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan», and also books of scientists about various branches of a science. Besides it, here are presented portraits of  well-known scientists, who has made a contribution into the development of the science of our country,  documentary photography from store-house of written sources of the State museum, showing the scientific researche carried out in the XX-th century in the sphere of archaeology, ethnography, geology, mineralogy, biology, philology, paleontology and other natural sciences. In the centre of the exhibition are located the museum values connected with these sciences. These are ceramic vessels and pieces of architectural décor, the petrified organisms, various kinds of minerals, stuffed animals, various kinds of microscopes and laboratory exhibits. In the course of the exhibition are presented scientific reports and books of the research fellows of the museum devoted the museum values and history of museums of Turkmenistan. 

The exhibition was opened with the words of greeting by the manager of the State Museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov.

Then the floor was given to the professor of the International university of oil and gas Nuryagdy Sukhanov, deputy director of the national institute of Desert, vegetation and fauna of the management of environmental protection of Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection, candidate of biology Pirli Kepbanov, principal research fellow of the institute of Language, literature and national manuscripts of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of philological science Gurbanjemal Ylyasova, principal research fellow of the institute of Desert, vegetation and fauna of the management of environmental protection of Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection, candidate of biology Edjebai Kokanova, senior research fellow of regional geology department of natural gas research institute of «Türkmengaz» State concern, candidate of geological - mineralogical science Tatyana Glushkova, senior lecturer of Turkmen State architectural institute, candidate of technical science Charymurat Taganov,  postgraduate student  of the institute of History and archaeology of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Guljakhan Ballyyeva and lecturer professor of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, candidate of geological - mineralogical science Anatoliy Bushmakin.

The students of Turkmen State architectural institute and Turkmen State institute of culture, staff of the museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan and State library of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan participated as the guests.    

The guests get acquainted with the exhibition named «Science – power of the country» and listened to the speeches of museum staff.
