On the 22-nd of May 2020 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized an exhibition named «Ashgabat white city – white happiness» devoted to the Day of Ashgabat city.

 The annual celebration of the 25-th of May by the initiative of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as the Day of Ashgabat city, which was turned into the land of hospitality, reliable partnership, peaceful creation and humanism, now became a good tradition. As the result of successful implementation of the architectural program of the honourable President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, our white Ashgabat city in a year «Turkmenistan - the Motherland of prosperity» considerably expands its borders because of construction of new complexes of the buildings, the reached successes, carrying out of a lot of work.

On the 22-nd of May 2020 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized an exhibition named «Ashgabat white city – white happiness» devoted to the Day of Ashgabat city. The exhibition is opened with the wise words of our honourable President about our capital. The exhibition consists of two main parts, in the first part there is shown the appearance of old Ashgabat in documentary photography. In the second part we can see photos of beautiful modern buildings, amusement parks, fountains. In this photos are shown Oguz khan fountain complex, amusement centre «Аlem» with the biggest closed Ferris wheel, facilities of Olympic campus and others. There are books by our honourable President, carpets with excellent views of our city, photos, works of artists, gift jewelry compositions from the store-houses of the museum of the President of Turkmenistan, which are given the sufficient place. The exhibition is still more adorned with splendid carpets woven by our carpet makers «Моnument of Independence», «Моnument of Ashgabat», « White city of Ashgabat». Here you can also see photos of beautiful buildings, amusement parks, fountains of our city. According to the documentary photography we can compare the former and the modern look of Ashgabat city. Looking at these photos one can be convinced that Ashgabat is being developed rapidly. Today Ashgabat is considered to be a light of independent Motherland, pearl of the Central Asia and land of warmth.

Тhe exhibition was opened by the manager of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical science Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov with words of greeting. Then the floor was given to the Сhairman of the Union of architects of Turkmenistan, Honoured architect of Turkmenistan, academician of the International academy of architects Ata Gurbanlyyev, subeditor of «Garagum» magazine, People’ writer of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldy Annamyradov, worker of department of culture of Ashgabat city administration, Honoured elder of Turkmenistan Erkin Kоsаyеv, chief editor of « Binagärlik we gurluşyk» magazine Yazgul Ezizova, executive secretary of this magazine Ruslan Muradow, engineer of division of installation of the Ministry of construction and architecture of Turkmenistan Begench Nuryyev and member of Elder’s council of Ashgabat city administration, veteran of work Ogulgul Annageldiyeva.

Staff of Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, State library of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, students of Turkmen State construction engineering institute, the State Academy of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan and Turkmen State institute of culture were invited as the guests of honour.

Their interesting and emotional speeches were met with prolonged applause.

Then the guests get acquainted with the exhibition «Ashgabat white city – white happiness» and listened to the information of museum staff.
