On the 17-th of April 2020 at the the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was carried out guest lesson named «Natural world of Turkmenistan» together with Danatar Ovezov State specialized music school near Maya Kuliyeva National conservatoire of Turkmenistan
Staff of the State museum does not limit itself only in popularization of permanently acting exposition, but regularly organizes guest exhibitions and teaches lessons on various themes in kindergartens, schools, colleges and institutions of higher education of Ashgabat city.
On the 17-th of April 2020 methodological division of the the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan carried out guest lesson named «Natural world of Turkmenistan» together with Danatar Ovezov State specialized music school near Maya Kuliyeva National conservatoire of Turkmenistan. At this lesson has been carried out enlarged excursion about the values located in department of nature. Therehave been presented natural monuments of the country, minerals, petrified remains of ancient animals and plants, vegetable and animal worlds. The guests have acquainted with the medicinal plants located in separate show-cases.
Every second plant in Turkmenistan is considered to be medicinal. There is an information about hundreds of such plants in the book «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan» by the honourable President. The students were shown the medicinal plants, which occur in our country, that is a camomile, harmel, rhubarb, licorice, the camel's-thorn, yarrow and plantain and told about their medical properties. There are herbariums of 27 kinds of medicinal plants presented in the exposition of department of nature of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan and 470 are stored in storehouses. Besides it, research fellows of the museum have told about the activity on the protection of rare animals carried out in State reserves of the country.
At this lesson the students has shown their honouring to the spiritual world of our ancestors, cultural values and a rich heritage. The rich history of our people promotes patriotic upbringing of rising generation, under the guidance of hero Arkadag the confidence gets stronger in the bright future. The dear President, who respects a national heritage, which was left by our ancestors, has created all conditions for scientific research of museum values, their storages and popularization all over the world.
